Durch die neue Forensoftware und die Portierung der Daten konnten die Passwörter aus dem alten Forum nicht übernommen werden, bitte lassen Sie sich ein neues Passwort über die Passwort vergessen Funktion zusenden. Sollte es zu Problemen kommen kontaktieren Sie das Bus-Profi Team per E-Mail.

The much awaited functionalities (including communication via server for reliable remote access or notifications) depend on the changes in Base firmware and the server. We're still working on all of these components but unfortunatelly it will not be possible to finish it before Christmas.

Did you mean you were in the local network where the Base you were trying to contact was?
Did the application discovered the Base? Was it just in "connecting" state?
Did you try several times (packet retransmission is not working yet)?

Hi Lowrider For a remote connection there are currently three options: 1) when you have a static IP at home you may configure your router to forward port 44544 to the Base and configure DIRECT connection in the application by entering you IP address to connect to - however exposing the Base directly...

Forgetting the IP address is a known issue.
Regarding the traffic, explicit closing the session is not implemented. Base keeps sending notifications to a device until it does not receive anything from it for more then 30 seconds.

Hi all
The search broadcast packets do not pass through the VPN so local connection does not work in that case. Putting the IP manually solves the problem as the application goes directly and does not rely on the search responses.
I will try to test the application over VPN.
