We will shortly introduce new module:
DOMIQ/GSM will be essentially 0 outputs, 0 inputs module :-)

But using functionality of DOMIQ/Base any meaning can be assigned to text being set by SMS. It is also posible to "extract" parts of text, like temperature and sent it directly to LCN regulator as new setpoint. Any number of commands can be defined.

We have early prototypes ready in our office. But we want to make it even better - with our module it will be possible to store audio files. Then either module, or user can dial to each other, and use phone keypad to control LCN system. Sometimes, any delays with SMS messaging are just unacceptable.

Later DOMIQ/GSM will also work as backup internet connection for DOMIQ/Base, using GPRS/EDGE connection.

Hi Filip,
to have a better overview I moved your answer as a new own threat and change the headline ;)

Great news! Do you have an idea of the price and the introducing onto the market?

Hi Nils,

we have no pricing details yet. It will be cheaper than Base, more expensive than other modules.
Module has it's own power source inside, size is 4T. Requires Base to actually do anything.

It would be fairly easy to add ability to send SMS messages in the same way as new iPhone notifications.
Question is, whether it would be useful given new iPhone notifications?

Hello Filip,

most of all my clients have an iPhone but SMS would be independent by producers.

Kind regards
