SYSTEM 2.0 | New Configurator (Adobe Flash migration)

Today we published an update that introduces new configurator to the DOMIQ/Base module! The new configurator replaces the old one that uses Adobe Flash plugin. Migration to the new configurator is done through regular update. No additional steps or configuration changes are required!

NOTICE: Both the systempak and webpak components must be updated at the same time - this is essential for seamless migration process. The update window should indicate both components in version 2.0.0.0. If for some reason you do not see both in this version, please contact us and do not upgrade. The RTOS component must be 1.8.7.0 or newer.

meine Empfehlung: Unbedingt auf diesen Konfigurator wechseln!
Der neue Konfigurator ist ein Meilenstein, was die Bedienbarkeit angeht.
Insbesondere der Logik-Editor ist jetzt viel einfacher und sicherer zu verwenden und fühlt sich wie ein echter Editor an.
Bei der Flashversion gab es vorher immer wieder Cursorsprünge u.s.w.
Man vertippt sich weniger durch die Autocomplete-Funktion und kann jetzt bequem suchen.

Endlich gibt es auch Kommentare bei den Aktionen, wo man sonst nur die Adressen hatte, die zumindest ich immer wieder nachgucken musste.

Super, vielen Dank dafür @Piotr.
Bisher läuft alles prima, nach dem Update musste ich das Base neustarten da der WebServer scheinbar nicht auf anhieb lief. Ping war da, per Telnet konnte ich auch drauf, dort reboot ausgelöst. Siehe da, geht... Reboot tut gut ;-)

Thanks to the Domiq support,

this is a huge step for the configuration of domiq base. Now I can deinstallate the flash plugin.

Two problems that I still have:
1. I have a variable VAR.LCN.variable.0.7.4, if I click on delete, than this variable can not be deleted. After actualisation the variable is coming back.
2. If I click on actualisation in the variable in the status window, than the sorting by name is not used, I must click on Name to enable sorting.

Is it possible to enable the Temperature element that is only for LCN, for all other variables in Domiq base. I have got humidity and brightness and want to show it as graph in Domiq base.

great Job thanks.

I discovered one small thing with missing translation. In TAB remote e.g. if you add a STATUS element there are no german translations for the colors or behaviour of the element.

As I understand both issues are related to the State tab?
1. You delete it, but LCN is reporting an update and it's put to Base's state.
2. Yes, that an issue we know about and we will try to fix it soon.

Hello Andre,

regarding your question about graphs:
DOMIQ already has a powerful solution for that since a while. Each and every variable in LCN and BASE can be displayed with Grafana in Remote Display as long as you have a PC running 24/7 and set up to run Grafana.

As far as I know it is not availabel in Remote yet, but it works very well in Display on my iOS devices. Please see the tutorial:

I have grafana running, but it is not shown in Android domiq app, it is only working with iphones.
